If you choose to use the donation feature to financially support our mission, you will be asked to provide your first and last name, email address, country, and postal address, as well as your payment information. Callisto will use this information to process your donation, issue a tax receipt to you where applicable, and send you email communications about our mission, activities, resources to survivors and their allies, impact reports, as well as messages regarding our fundraising efforts.
If you choose to subscribe to our Callisto newsletter, you will receive periodic email updates about our mission, activities, resources to survivors and their allies, impact reports, as well as messages regarding our fundraising efforts. We may also add you to our subscriber list if you register for one of our events, or otherwise share your contact information with us via means other than our website.
You can "opt out" of receiving our emails at any time via the unsubscribe link in the footer of each of our email messages.
If you use the Join our Waiting List feature to suggest an organization, company, or network with whom we could partner to offer Callisto, we will ask you to provide your name, email, the name of the institution you are suggesting, your title and affiliation with the suggested institution, the industry of the institution, and anything else you want to let us know about the institution. We will use this data to add your information to our partnership waiting list and to contact you once we are ready to discuss a potential partnership with your institution. We may also add the email address you submitted to our Newsletter subscribers to keep you informed on our activities, product and partnership updates. You can unsubscribe from our Newsletter at any time.
If you chose to apply for a job at Callisto, you will share your application information (which may include your name, contact information, citizenship or immigration status, resume, LinkedIn profile, cover letter, names of you references, and other information you submit). We will only use this information to process your job application.
If you contact us via one of the email addresses published on our website, we will store your email address and the text of your message to us, and only use this information to respond to your question, feedback, or request.
There is no need to provide to us, and we strongly discourage you from providing any sensitive information about you or anyone else, including details about any sexual assault or coercion that you experienced, your race or ethnicity, religious or philosophical beliefs, sex life, sexual orientation, political opinions, or information about your health.
If you make a donation via the www.projectcallisto.org website, we will share your information with Donorbox who provides donation payment processing services to Callisto. Information shared includes your first and last name, email address, and postal address, as well as your payment information. Callisto does not collect nor access any donor credit card data. This data is processed by Donorbox on our behalf. All Donorbox donation forms are protected by SSL/TLS encryption technology and the checkout process is secure. Donorbox does not store any card information. All card and bank account data are tokenized before charging.
Our donation page allows you to share on Facebook, LinkedIn, and Twitter information about our fundraising campaigns. These social media features may allow the third-party social media provider to collect data like your IP address and which page of our website you are visiting, and to set a cookie to enable the feature. Your interactions with these features are governed by the Facebook, LinkedIn, or Twitter’s respective privacy policies.
Job application information that you submit to us is shared with Lever, the recruiting service platform used by Callisto, and all your application information will be stored on Lever’s hosted platform on our behalf.
We require all third parties to respect your privacy and to treat your information in accordance with the law. We only permit third parties to process your personal data for specified purposes and in accordance with our agreements with them.
