Thank you for your interest in becoming a Callisto Ambassador!

The Callisto Ambassador Volunteer Program is designed to support grassroots organizing, advocacy, coalition building, and support awareness of gender-based violence, with a specific focus on sexual assault. Callisto Ambassadors are college students who are passionate about educating their campus community about the issue and impact of sexual assault, support resources and tools for student survivors, and move their community toward campus action to better meet the needs of survivors. Ambassadors employ peer-to-peer engagement strategies by hosting events and programs that educate the campus community at large about the issue of sexual assault, allyship, and realities of navigating the inequities of the criminal justice system. Their engagement with their campus community supports increased student awareness and usage of Callisto Vault.

Our Ambassadors are:

Currently enrolled as an undergraduate or graduate student for Fall 2025 and/or Spring 2026 semester.
Passionate about understanding and solving the issue of sexual violence on campus.
Excited to lead and organize on the grassroots level with other students.
Motivated to learn how to build and execute awareness campaigns.
Network savvy and endlessly curious about new ways to connect with all students on campus, with emphasis on BIPOC, people with disabilities, and LGBTQ+ communities.

Commitment:

A volunteer position with a commitment of hosting at least 2 education events each semester designed to build awareness and usage of Callisto Vault.
Complete the Student Government Initiative for your campus.
Participate in and promote Callisto-sponsored events, initiatives, and programs.
Track and submit campus engagement activities data and student feedback.
Social media engagement with Callisto, where possible.
Refer the next generation of Ambassadors.
