Enhancing Our Survivor Support Services
On April 17th, 2026, all Callisto Vault account holders who opted into communications received an email about how we're strengthening survivor resources.
Through our partnership with Ampersands Advocacy Resources, we've moved from pro bono attorneys (formerly Legal Options Counselors) to fully dedicated advocates. These vetted, trauma-informed experts will provide specialized support to help survivors explore all of their rights and options.
Matched Survivor Journey
If you match with another survivor through Callisto’s Matching System, you'll be connected with a confidential advocate, free of charge, who can help you understand your options for legal action, Title IX processes, restorative justice, mental health and counseling support, and/or support resources. If you choose to do so, your advocate can also support you in connecting with the other matched survivor(s) and facilitate warm handoffs to Title IX offices, attorneys, and other resources, as needed. Survivor autonomy, informed consent, and nonjudgmental support are foundational to all interactions.
Note: A matched survivor is a survivor who has entered the same unique identifier(s) as another survivor in the Matching System, indicating that both survivors have identified the same perpetrator.
Privacy Protection
Advocates through Ampersands Advocacy Services follow strict confidentiality laws. They cannot share any of your identifying information with others unless you explicitly authorize them to do so in writing. These protections have limits. Your communications and counseling records may be disclosed pursuant to a subpoena, court order, or other judicial or law enforcement process. Your advocate will explain the specific confidentiality protections available to you before any substantive conversations begin. Also, once your case is closed the advocate will no longer have access to your matching entry. To learn more, visit the Callisto Vault Privacy Policy.
